Workshops 

Patuá Dance offers a range of workshops and residencies that are guaranteed to always get everyone up, moving and dancing with their whole body!

All workshops are open to anybody, regardless of age, ability or experience. Workshops vary from dance to making and playing instruments.

Patuá Dance’s most popular workshops have been the Afro-Brazilian Dance and Body Awareness, led by Fernanda Amaral the artistic director of Patuá Dance.

Fernanda Amaral runs a regular Afro-Brazilian dance class at Chapter Arts at Cardiff on Market Road, on most Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. The class is open to everyone, regardless of age, experience or ability and will be an opportunity for participants to join the Patua Dance company for carnivals and street theatre pieces.
